The 19th century saw the rise of children as subject matter in paintings, not only in portraits but in their daily activities. This exhibition includes works by Gustave De Jonghe, Francis Coates Jones, Charles Bertrand D’Entraygues, and Sylvius Paoletti. Showing alongside this exhibition are a rotating selection of museum quality paintings, objects d’art, and antiques from Europe and North America.
