The Art Dealers Association of Canada (ADAC) is a not-for-profit trade organization founded in 1966. With over 60 members, ADAC is the largest representation of private and commercial art galleries in Canada.
Our Mission
ADAC strives to continuously expand and serve our membership; including both established and emerging art dealers and fostering a robust association from various backgrounds and specialties. We create and ensure vital programming and professional development initiatives for our members through opportunities at home and abroad.
As Canada’s leading professional arts trade organization, we work to raise the profile of Canadian visual art, artists, and galleries.
Our Members
ADAC represents over 65 commercial art galleries and private dealers across Canada. Our members represent leading historical and contemporary artists and deal in both Canadian and international art.
The Association maintains a high standard of connoisseurship and adherence to ethical practice within the profession. Members are trusted sources for historical, modern, and contemporary fine art.
Art Fairs and ADAC Members
Many ADAC members showcase their gallery programs at national and international art fairs. These events allow art dealers to connect with diverse, new audiences outside of their permanent gallery space. Click the button below to learn more about member galleries exhibiting at art fairs in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Europe, and Asia.
