Celebrating Sixty Years
The Art Dealers Association of Canada (ADAC) celebrated its 60th Anniversary with a pop-up exhibition at Bau-Xi Gallery Dufferin, Toronto from Thursday, June 11 to Sunday, June 14, 2026. The Exhibition, in support of the ADAC Foundation, included a curated selection of over 100 artworks from 52 member galleries across Canada.
The Art Dealers Association of Canada Foundation is a Canadian registered charity established in 1986. The Foundation's mandate is to advance the arts through public education, programming, exhibitions, and support for emerging professionals.
The ADAC Foundation’s Avrom Isaacs Critical Writing Award was announced on the opening night of our 60th Anniversary Exhibition. This award supports emerging art writers in Canada with three biennial grants of $1,500 CAD. The award celebrates the legacy of Avrom Isaacs, an influential and groundbreaking Canadian art dealer who discovered and supported the careers of many of Canada's best-known artists. Isaacs was a founding member of ADAC in 1966. The award is a testament to the legacy of this unwavering champion of the visual arts.
