EVENT : Print Making at Abbozzo Gallery

As part of our Learning Series, Abbozzo Gallery is excited to announce a print making workshop led by gallery artist Alex R.M Thompson with the help of Open Studio. This will include a tetra pack drypoint printmaking lesson with materials included for all participants and an intaglio demonstration led by the artist.

This workshop coincides with Alex R.M. Thompson’s very own solo exhibition A Semblance of Place, featuring his distinct copperplate etchings and prints.

What this workshop offers:

-A 3 hour lesson in the foundations of printmaking led by Alex. R.M. Thompson
-All necessary materials and art supplies, including fine art paper
-The opportunity to leave with your very own handmade print to take home
-Non-alcoholic refreshments and small bites provided

There is very limited space so get your tickets while availability lasts!

Alex R.M Thompson has been teaching printmaking at the University of Alberta, SNAP (Society of Northern Alberta Printmakers), and is also an Open Studio artist member.
