Making Luck: Methods and Materials celebrates a distinctive group of contemporary artists working across an extraordinary range of media. The exhibition highlights the dedication behind each artist’s practice, showcasing how sustained effort and thoughtful engagement with materials lead to inspired outcomes.

Artists featured in the exhibition include Mark Bartkiw, Shireen Kamran, Ciba Karisik, Chung-Im Kim, Yvonne Lammerich, Claude Millette, Rod Mireau, Ivo Stoyanov, along with exciting new works by Lucy Maki and featured local artist Claudia McCabe.

The works on display encompass a wide variety of media, including oil and acrylic paint, wood, industrial felt, steel, and papier-mâché, exploring techniques such as impasto, glazing, collage, casting, stitching, 3D printing, photography, and hand forging.
