A Return to Tuscany showcases Craig's continued journeys to the Italian countryside and the lasting inspiration he draws from its landscape. Rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves, and cypress-lined roads create a timeless setting shaped by nature and centuries of tradition.
During his most recent trip, Craig had the privilege of being a guest of renowned winemaker Marchesi Leonardo Frescobaldi at his family’s historic agricultural estate, Tenuta Castiglioni. Owned by the family since the 11th century, the estate is recognized as the birthplace of their winemaking tradition. The estate is situated along the ancient Via di Castiglioni, a road built to connect northern Tuscany with Rome and regarded as an open-air museum in its own right.
This collection spans over several Tuscan regions, including Pienza, San Gimignano, Montefollonico, Castiglioni, and Montalcino. These small, historic hilltop towns known for their medieval architecture, rich wine culture, and scenic landscapes provide an ideal backdrop for his observational approach.
