Fabiana Salomao’s Bossa in House seamlessly blends modernism with the vibrant spirit of bossa nova, celebrating the “new wave” of samba and jazz that emerged from Rio’s Copacabana in 1956. This exhibition captures the movement that influenced art, music, design, and architecture, reflecting a romantic, carefree lifestyle. Using acrylic on wood, Salomao emphasizes simplicity, functionality, and harmony. Her work draws inspiration from Bauhaus and the Neo-Concretism of Brazilian art, creating a unique fusion of historical and contemporary influences.
