Lustre of Cobalt positions the human figure within contemporary societal landscapes, utilizing cobalt as a central element. Extracted from the Earth, cobalt serves diverse roles from powering electronic devices, to adorning art alongside its dual nature capable of energizing or endangering the body. This metal's multifaceted significance is symbolically and aesthetically integrated into the exhibition's hyper-synthetic compositions, reflecting our modern position in the ongoing narrative of existence.
The exhibition is on view in the Project Gallery from 8 November to 7 December 2024.
