In this body of work, Pope challenges the traditional portrayal of the female figure, focusing on her own relationship with the absurdity placed upon standards and the play-pretend inherent to female representation, encouraging the viewer to consider how they adorn their own existence: whether through beauty, longing, or acceptance.
